At this time, remebering all the times with Phil and family. The times Joe spent at the "Vineland Estate" with Phil, Wanda, Phil Jr and David. The times Phil got Joe into officiating and the encouragement (and games of course) and the tips he provided (keep the flag in your pocket and the clock running. The times at our wedding where he won the best dance contest for his jitter bug. His bragging about his "Cardinals" and his pal Enos Slaughter. But most of all, the advise , encouragement, and supoport he and Wanda gave to a bunch of rawdy "Brighton boys' as they made their way thru life. Rest in peace, Phil as you join Wanda and Phil JR. Rest assurred knowing "you done good". Yvonne and joe Donovan

Muiris O'Connor
I graduated with Phil LaFauci Jr. from St. Columbkille, class of 1964.
He was not impressed with my talents as a second string guard. What I anyone on team was that I only joined football team because there were not enough players for a team and the seniors came to freshman class looking for recruits. These guys were giants and Phil never got to show how good he was as a quarterback. I never had the pleasure of meeting Phil Sr. but being a Marine says it all. Vietnam was different and a. Phil Sr. was treated like the hero all soldiers are. Phil said his proudest achievement was that he didn't lose any men in his platoon. See you soon!
