Peter J. Dotton, 76, of Falmouth, MA died on January 4, 2017 at the Plymouth Rehab and Health Care Center in Plymouth. He was born on October 30, 1940 in Weymouth to Paul and Mary (Twomey) Dotton. He graduated from Rockland High School and was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Before his retirement Peter was the owner/chef of Rooster N' Sun restaurant in Brockton.

Peter was the husband of the late Joanne Lesperance, stepfather to Marie Phillips and the late Maureen and Arthur Lesperance. He was grandfather to MacKenzie and Angelina Phillips, Nicole, Kaitlyn and Sophia Lesperance and great grandfather to Alana Phillips. Peter was the brother of Paula Alvanas and Jane Taylor. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
