Obituary For Pauline Warren

Pauline (Lewis) Warren, 83, of Bridgewater formerly of Rockland died on May 3, 2008 at the Sachem Skilled Nursing Facility in E. Bridgewater. She was born in Rockland, daughter of the late Leslie and Anna (Gallagher) Lewis and was raised and educated there graduating from Rockland High School. She had resided in Bourne for several years before moving to Bridgewater. Mrs. Warren had been employed as a cashier at Tedeschi Food Shop and later Stop and Shop in Rockland prior to her retirement. She had also previously worked at Brockton Hospital, Rockland Trust Co. and Electro-Signal Labs in Rockland. Pauline was a member of the American Legion Auxilliary. She is survived by her husband, Alan O. Warren and a daughter Judy A. Rasmussen of CT. She was the sister of Sally R. Brunke of Rockland, John Lewis of Bridgewater, Robert P. Lewis and Willard Lewis of Fl and the late Geraldine Lewis, Charles P. Lewis, Louise C. Weatherby, Edward M. Lewis and Joseph Lewis. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Christian Rasmussen and Cheryl Raymond as well as 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral was held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street ROCKLAND on Wednesday, May 7th at 11:00 AM. Burial followed in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington. Calling hours were on Tuesday, May 6th from 5-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472

    What a beautiful person Pauline was. She had the most wonderful personality and was always laughing. She was a beauty, inside and out and I'll always remember her babysitting my brother and I on Reed St. and sitting on her lap. God bless her and her family and all her many friends.

    There are not enough kind words that one can say about such a caring, and loving person as Auntie Pauline. Her smile would brighten any room. Anyone who had the chance to know Pauline and share in her laughter, was truly fortunate. She was one of a kind and will be deeply missed.
