Paul R. Golemme Jr. 65, of Whitman died at the Brockton Hospital on Monday after a period of failing health. He was born in Brockton son of the late Paul, and Marie (McKenna) Golemme. Paul was raised and educated in Rockland graduating from Rockland High School.

Following High School Mr. Golemme and his brother opened P and F Lawnmower service in Rockland which the pair would own and operate for over twenty years. Later, Mr. Golemme went to work for the Litecontrol Corporation of Hanson where he provided 20 years of service as a Metal Fabricator.

Paul had a passion for antique cars and enjoyed attending car shows. He also loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Golemme is survived by his wife, AnneMarie (Donnelly) Golemme of Whitman. Also survived by his son James M. Golemme of Whitman. Brother of David Golemme and his wife Marie of Rockland, and Stephen Golemme of Rockland. Uncle of Lisa Golemme of East Bridgewater.

The Golemme family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Paul's life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. Rockland on Friday October 4, from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday in the Holy Ghost Church, 518 Washington St. Whitman MA at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
