Paul Brigham December 29, 1944 to August 9th, 2022

ROCKLAND - Paul Brigham age 77 of Rockland, MA passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on August 9, 2022, at home surrounded by family and loved ones. He was born in Middelboro to the late Herman and Pearl Bellerive of Middleboro. Paul was raised and educated in Middelboro.
 He was a graduate of Middleboro High school class of 1965.

He proudly served in the United States Army with the1st Calvary Division 82nd Airborne during Vietnam War 1966-1967. After serving in the military, he worked as a mechanic at various garages as an auto and truck mechanic. In 1976 he opened Paul’s Garage in Rockland specializing in 4 wheel drive vehicles.

Paul enjoyed his summer home on Martha’s Vineyard for 15 years with his family. He loved clamming, fishing and boating. After selling his summer home, Paul and Carol became active members of the Country Coach Nor’Easters and enjoyed many trips in their motor home with his family and friends they met along the way.

He is survived by his wife, Carol A. (DelPrete) Brigham of 51 years. His daughter Andrea J. (Brigham) Costa and her husband Corin Costa of Braintree, his brother Robert Bellerive and wife Linda of Middleboro, his sisters, Melanie Young and husband Richard of Sodus, NY, and Doris Mocker and husband Leslie of Middleboro and his sister in law Dorothy Brigham of Middleboro. He was the brother of the late Jack Brigham and David Bellerive of Middleboro. Paul also had several sisters and brother in- laws and many nieces and nephews whom he loved.

The Brigham family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Paul’s life on Sunday August 14,2022 from 3:00-6:00 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated in the Holy Family Church on Monday August 15, 2022 at 9:00am.
