Obituary For Patricia Ann Damon

Patricia A. Damon, 61, of Rockland, went home to God on February 12, 2017 after a hard fought battle with brain cancer.

She was raised in Braintree, the daughter of the late Daniel and Virginia Byrne. Wife of Richard A. Damon, she was the loving mother of Kaitlynn and her husband Matthew Muzrall of Cumberland, RI, Andrew and his wife Sarah Damon of Stamford, CT, and Rebecca Damon of Somerville, MA. Patricia was the devoted grandmother to Aiden, Myles, and Riley Muzrall. She is also survived by seven brothers and sisters.

Patricia loved helping others, especially sewing and crocheting things for Kaitlynn, Rebecca, and her grandchildren. Her happiest moments where doing crafting projects with her oldest grandchild Aiden and going to Walt Disney World with all three of her grandchildren. Patricia and her older sister Ginny were best friends and loved going to the gym together just to chat. She enjoyed spending time with her best friend from work Marilyn Frederico, Quincy MA who was like a sister to her.

The family welcomes friends and relatives to celebrate Patricia's life on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA 02370. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 9:00 AM in Holy Family Church 403 Union St. Rockland, MA 02370. After cremation, burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

    Dear Dick and family, all the Byrne siblings...I was shocked to hear of Patsy's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Patsy was such a sweet, loving person. We had many good times, back in the day. We would spend hours talking and laughing, while enjoying Diet Pepsi and Toy Cookies! Although we drifted apart over the years, I always valued her friendship. May she Rest In Peace...

    I am so sad to learn of Patsy's passing. I have very fond memories of working at Stop and Shop with her, she was a treasure to me and helped me all the time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She will be missed I know but will always remain in our hearts.
