Obituary For Pamela Davidson

Pamela (Grob) Davidson, formerly of The Villages, Florida and Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away peacefully at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham, MA on December 20, 2016, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 72.

Raised in Queens, NY, Pam was the daughter of the late James W. Grob, Sr. and Priscilla Ferris Grob. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Rocchio.

After her marriage to Ed King, an officer in the United States Coast Guard, in 1965, Pam and her family moved many times, including stops in Elizabeth City, NC, Hempstead, NY, San Diego and Monterey, CA, Burke, VA, and Traverse City, MI, before settling in Cape May Court House, NJ, where Pam worked as the court administrator for Stone Harbor, NJ until her retirement. Pam was a dedicated mother, who was actively involved in all of her kids' activities, including swim and dive meets, soccer games, dance recitals and band competitions, and was a die-hard Eagles fan. Upon retirement, Pam moved to The Villages, Florida, where she was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with her many friends and her dog, Riley.

Pam is survived by her son, Scott King, and his wife, Mary Beth, of Yardley, PA and her daughter, Shannon (King) Carron and her husband, Matthew, of Hanson, MA. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren, Colin, Brendan and Nora King and Jack, Sam and Teddy Carron. Pam is also survived by her brother, Jim Grob, Jr. and his wife, Marge, of Summerville, SC. She was the beloved aunt of three nieces and two nephews.

The family will be celebrating Pam's life at a yet-to-be-planned event in the new year.

Donations in her name may be made to the Lustgarten Foundation (www.lustgarten.org) or the Pat Roche Hospice Home, 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043 (www.nvna.org).

Pam was my neighbor for my whole life. She was the definition of a great neighbor. As a kid around the holidays she would always stop by and bring a gift for my brother and I. But it wasn't about the gifts it was just the fact that she thought about us. She was an amazing lady, my memory of her will always be Ms.Pam walking buddy every day down the street of Tressler lane. My heart goes out to her whole family. The end of Tressler will never be the same.

Shannon, Scott and Jimmy, I found a dear, dear friend in Pam in the short time that I was fortunate enough to know her. She was a warm and kind woman. She often talked lovingly of all of you, including her grandchildren and everyone in her family. She was so proud of all of you. May God's eternal love keep her close in his care. I miss her friendship so; but she left me a gift, which has enriched my life and that I will cherish. She gave me Riley. Pam, Riley will remind me of you each and every day. He is such a good boy.
Thank you for your generosity of heart and spirit dear friend, Hazel (Kaufman), Tamarind Grove, The Villages, FL
