Nicholas Trabazan, 86, died on June 26, 2016 after a long illness. Born in Boston, he had been a resident of Rockland, MA where he lived with his beloved wife, Lynne Grant Trabazan. He also leaves behind a sister, Joanne Trabazan, of North Reading, MA and three nieces: Katina Burton with her husband Randall, of Newark, Delaware; Connie Meyers of Van Wert, Ohio and Kelly Whittiker of Celina, Ohio, along with many great nieces and nephews. He was recently predeceased by his two sisters, Mary LeClair of Brockton and Despina Walls of Van Wert Ohio.

Nicholas graduated from Dorchester High School. He was later drafted into the army and was deployed to Korea during that country's conflict with the U.S. His employment of many years was working as a "cutter" of women's clothing in the Garment District of Boston (Kneeland St.) Nicholas was also a talented musician, who played the trumpet in big bands in ballrooms around Boston and throughout New England.

Visiting hours will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, MA 02370. His funeral service will take place at St. Catherine's Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree, MA at 10:00 am on July 6, 2016.
