Natalie E. Heffernan (Tuttle), of Rockland died on July 16, 2017 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was born on September 4, 1934 in Weymouth MA Daughter of the late William and Edna Tuttle. Natalie was raised and educated in Weymouth graduating from Weymouth High School in 1952. At the age of 45 Natalie made the commitment to return to school earning a degree in Nursing. She later went on to work for many years at the South Shore Nursing Facility. Mrs. Heffernan was a communicant of Holy Family Parish in Rockland for over 55 years. She loved playing games, especially solitaire, and crossword puzzles. Natalie was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. Natalie was the beloved Wife of Thomas M. Heffernan of Rockland. Mother of Patrick Heffernan and his Wife Renee Sandelowsky of CAN, Dr. Thomas Heffernan MD and his Wife Anne Marie of NH, Joseph J. Heffernan of NH, and Natalie Heffernan-Fricke of FL. Sister of the late Cecile Benson, Valerie Crayton, Eldon Tuttle, and William Tuttle. Grandmother of Molly Heffernan, Olivia Heffernan, Rose Heffernan, Katherine Heffernan, James Heffernan, Patrick Heffernan, Thomas M. Fricke, Timothy E. Fricke, Abigail E. Fricke, and Taylor M Heffernan. Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews. All services will be private.
