Obituary For Nancy L. Newcomb
Nancy L. Newcomb, 66, formerly of Hanson, died on May 22, 2014. Nancy was born in Weymouth, daughter of the late Frances, and Rita (Chappel) Newcomb. She was raised and educated in Rockland, graduating from Rockland High School.
Nancy enjoyed showing her love for others by lending a helping hand to a family member or friend who had a project underway. She enjoyed animals, and had a special love for dogs. Her hobbies included softball and bowling. Nancy's greatest legacy was her faith in Christ and passing her beliefs on to her three daughters.
Nancy was the Mother of Roxanne L. Tice of MI, Lorrie J. Towne of MI, and Sherri A. Robbins of MD. Sister of Arthur Newcomb of Plymouth, Terry Newcomb of Rockland, Jeff Newcomb of Whitman, Ricky Newcomb of Pembroke, Paul Newcomb of Carver, Eddie Newcomb of Rockland, Reggie Newcomb of Rockland, David Newcomb of NV, George Newcomb of Weymouth, Kathy Newcomb of Rockland, Gail Newcomb of NC, and Donna Newcomb of NH. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.
The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. in Rockland from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Thursday May 29, 2014. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at Living Hope Foursquare Church, 145 Webster St. Hanover MA 02339, at 11:30 AM on Thursday following visitation. Donations may be made to the Nancy Newcomb Memorial Fund, care of The Rockland Trust Company 288 Union Street, Rockland, MA 02370.

Nancy was truly the most giving person ever she would give you her car if you needed it or money or food.she was a person who worked hard and never complained about it,and she truly loved her daughter's more than words could express,rest well Nancy

We always enjoyed our time visiting with Nancy when we would visit our son Steven and Daughter in law Sherri at their North Carolina home. We will always have very fond memories of Nancy. Our prays and condolences to the family and friends of Nancy.
