Obituary For Nancy E. Killion

Nancy E. Killion (63) of Abington, formerly Rockland, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022. Born on November 7, 1959 in Boston Ma, Nancy was the only child of the late Helen Killion (Ahern) and George Killion. She was raised in West Roxbury and attended St. Theresa of Avila School where she played the clarinet in the band. After high school, she immediately entered the work field where she worked as a nursing aid. She was dedicated to helping and caring for her patients. Nancy raised two beautiful daughters on her own who were her pride and joy. Kaylee Killion and Krystin Reardon (Killion). There was nothing in this world that made her happier than seeing her girls succeed and thrive in life. She loved being a cheer mom, watching her Patriots, spending time with her beloved dog Lulu, enjoying lobster and Dunkin Donuts iced coffee, snacking on Werther’s caramel candies, and relaxing in her pajamas on her recliner watching all kinds of television. Some of her favorite memories were traveling to Disney to watch Krystin compete at High School Cheerleading Nationals, celebrating her 60th birthday at Hibachi with friends and family, visiting Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in NH with her daughters, attending Aerosmith live in concert, painting canvases during COVID quarantine with her daughters, playing the slot machines at Encore, and frequently watching late night movies with Kaylee. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. She loved all the holiday decor, seeing the beautiful Christmas lights, and giving special gifts to her loved ones. She will be truly missed this holiday season. In addition to her two daughters, Nancy is survived by her son-in-law Andrew Reardon and her new grandson Declan, both of Rockland. If there was anything she loved as much as being a mom, it was being a Grammy to Declan. She made sure to brag about him to every person she came in contact with. He was so very loved by her. Throughout Nancy’s 63 years of life, she fought through many illnesses but always managed to keep a smile on her face and remain positive. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Nancy will always remember her smile. She was a true warrior and fought extremely hard to be there for her daughters and watch them grow up. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend visiting hours at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home in Rockland on Wednesday December 7th from 5:00-7:00pm. We encourage everyone attending to wear pink in remembrance of her. It was her favorite color and this would make her so very happy!
