Obituary For Michael G. Garner

Michael G. Garner, of Middleboro, died on Saturday, October 21, 2017. He was born in Brockton, the beloved Son of Michael and Lisa (Rascicot) Garner of Rockland. Michael was raised and educated in Rockland. He was a graduate of South Shore Vocational Technical High School. Michael enjoyed motorcycles, dirt bikes, and boating. He loved taking long rides on his Harley Davidson, spending time with family and friends. His favorite time of the year was the 4th of July when he would have an outstanding cookout and fireworks display. He loved quiet time by himself to just think on how fortunate he was to have such great friends and family. The majority of his life was spent in the company of Jessica Bryson his longtime girlfriend of many years who loved to spend time riding with him and enjoying their private time, the love of his life. In his short, but long-lived life in so many ways, at the age of 20 he purchased his first home always living a very responsible life making his mother and father so proud at every decision he made. His selection of friends would make people envious of him, his life was truly one of a kind. Michael was the Grandson of Ann and Larry Garner of Rockland, and Doreen and Robert Rascicot of FL. Cousin of Jennifer Garner of Stoughton, Doreen Peterson of Brockton and Lisa Cox of FL. Mikey, as he was known, is also survived by his large Florida family, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and wonderful friends. The Garner family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Michael's life on Friday October 27, 2017 in The Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union ST. Rockland MA from 5:00-8:00 PM. There was many a summer day Mike would be at our home being an adventurous kid playing with my son and others in the pool or being adventurous in the woods behind Forest Street. There was always something to do from hiking to riding their dirt bikes. He was a polite and respectful kid that always seemed to carry a big smile on his face. His many friends and family members will grieve deeply because of such a loss way too early in life.if there's one saying I hear over and over from people dealing with hearing his passing is He was such a good kid rest easy Mike you will be missed.
