We will always remember how great Mike was with all the kids growing up and how much they loved him whether he was in the stands, coaching or encouraging them to do their best. Please accept our sympathy.

I have very fond memories of Mr. Flaherty. He opened his home to me on many weekends (as long as I didn't sit in his chair). It was fun to watch the exchanges between him and the kids and Mrs. Flaherty - always in fun and always in love. He gave you his opinion whether you asked for it or not. He was a great guy who always made you laugh. He will be missed by many, but especially his family. My heart goes out to all of you.

I know all the people I skated with have many fond memories of Mr. Flaherty. Always quick to lend encouragement and direction; always willing to lend a helping hand and ALWAYS working hard to make everyone smile. Thanks for sharing your husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather with all of us. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
