Merideth A. (Stanhope) O'Reilly, 99 of Rockland died on December 30, 2015 at the South Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born, raised and educated in Hartland, Maine daughter of the late Earl and Leola (Wheeler) Stanhope. She attended Hartland Academy for her education.

She had been employed for many years at the former Frank Noone Shoe Company in Rockland and later worked at the Dove's Nest Daycare in Rockland.

Wife of the late Francis J. O'Reilly, She was the mother of Lois G. Goodwin of Titusville, FL and the late Robert T. O'Reilly and F. Donna Carrara. She was predeceased by 6 sisters and 3 brothers. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren 11 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews..

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Wednesday January 6, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. Rockland. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
