Obituary For Marylou P Boyle

BOYLE, Marylou P. , "Lou" , age 52 of Rockland passed away peacefully on Friday August 31, 2018 at Curahealth Hospital in Stoughton, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on September 8, 1965 at the Goddard hospital to parents John and Evelyn Palma. She was a graduate of Holbrook High School and studied at Bridgewater State University, Class of 1987. Marylou was a very active member of the community and involved in every aspect of her children's lives, from Chipmunks with Mrs. Adams at Jefferson through the PAC at South Shore Vo-Tech (including a stint running the snack bar during freshman football season) Being involved with her own children was simply not enough for ML and she could be seen most Friday and Saturday nights at the Rockland Teen Center, reminding the kids that the clock was on the wall and not on their phone! Marylou is survived by her daughter Caitlin E. Boyle, son James A Boyle IV, daughter-in-law Laura and countless family, friends and cousins. Family, friends and others whose lives Marylou had touched are invited to the Magoun-Biggins funeral home at 135 Union St. Rockland, MA. 02370 on Wednesday, September 12 from 4-7 to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.

Jamie, Catie, and all of Marylou's family and friends. Words can not express enough how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Even though I moved away so long ago she remained a good friend. When we did have the opportunity to get together it was always like we were together just a few days ago. I will always have wonderful memories of being together when you were very young with Patti, Samantha, and Evan. My life was so much better because she was a part of it. A beautiful angel in heaven.
