Mary Regina (Gaffney) Qualter 95 of Hanover passed from this life on June 8, 2018 while recuperating at Wingate Skilled Nursing Facility in Kingston. She was born on July 29, 1922 in Philadelphia PA to the late Francis and Sarah (Bright) Gaffney. She was educated in Philadelphia and was the loving wife of the late Timothy J Qualter Sr.

Mrs. Qualter retired as a clerk for the US Postal Service in Boston. She then worked as a cafeteria worker in the Rockland School system. She enjoyed family cook-outs and family holiday celebrations. A Rockland resident for 40 years and a communicant and Eucharistic minister at Holy Family Church in Rockland before moving to Hanover in 2008.

She was the last surviving of 13 siblings. She was the loving mother of Timothy J Qualter Jr of Hanson, Marianne (Qualter) Alfieri of Augusta ME and James F Qualter of Leland NC. She will be dearly missed by her 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in the Philadelphia area.
