    Dear NuNu,
It's Andre I miss you ever so much. You were my real true friend.I love you with all my heart. I remeber the days when we would sit on your green chair and switch back from the Red Soxs and The Wheel of Fortune. Those there the best nights that's I can think of that I've lived for. I honestly cannot believe that you've been gone for 4 years. 4 years without my bestfriend. I think about you every day for countless hours. When God choices to tell me when my time is up my last dying wish would to hug you NuNu,in your arms was the happiest place for me except in my parents arm which I can tell you they miss you so much. I hope you are safe and happy up in the clouds with grampa and you're son Tom and Christopher.
    I love you NuNu,
14 year old Andre Coste Jr

Seldom do we ever meet such special people as MaryLou. She inspired so many, was stern yet oh so gentle simply because she cared and loved, especially the children she guided. MaryLou was a rare treasure that taught us to be concerned for others, helping so many at Pine Street, the nameless faces that always smiled when MaryLou came to serve them. She was and always will be a very special, beautiful, respected and loved "lady". May the peace of knowing she is with her loved ones, and with her God console and comfor all who loved her and will be forever saddened by her passing. Without question, MaryLou is right where God meant to be.

To Mary Lou's family, I offer my deepest condolences. Your Mom was such a wonderful, faith filled person. I truly enjoyed every encounter with her. I will always remember our celebrations "singing" at Tiffany and Tiffany II Rest Homes. There wasn't much singing, but certainly was a lot of laughter. Your faith through all of your trials was always such an inspiration to me. Rest in peace reunited with your loved ones. Thank you for all you did for the parishioners of Holy Family Church and the students of Rockland. God Bless, Kathy Botelho Kawa

To Mary Lou's family, I first met your Mom 29 years ago in her home for Pre-Cana classes. I really admired the wonderful relationship she and your Dad had. As the years passed and I had my own children I got to know her even more through volunteering and teaching CCD classes. More recently I would run into her at the supermarket. Your Mom/Grandmother was adored by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jared and family, I am very sorry to hear about your grandmothing passing away. I know you loved her very much. I remember her from when I was a little kid. She was the "CCD Boss", as we called her. She was very patient with all of the kids. She will be greatly missed by many I am sure. Just remember she will be looking down on you always. -Mrs. Collins

I also met MaryLou during Pre-Cana classes... I knew Mr. Kraemer as a teacher at Rockland High School... they where an ispiration and a blessing to have as our "teachers"... May her family find peace in knowing she is now with her husband forever in Heaven... Thoughts and Prayers to her children, grandchildren and the many that she has blessed with her smile and generosity

During the years that I taught CCD I constantly learned more from May Lou than I taught to anybody else. Since that time, there is never a time in passing the Pine Street Inn that memories of her do not flood in. To watch her there one really knew that your were watching what we should be doing with our lives. It is hard to describe how she related to the homeless but while witnessing you knew that you were truly watching a person who walked the walk. I will be enternally grateful to her for this and for the total compassion and friendship she offered the children with whom she worked.

  • 05/25/2021

My deepest sympathies to your entire family. Mary Lou was truly a wonderful person who had a deep rooted faith which she displayed in both words and deeds. I will miss her.
