Mary K. Burke 89, of Grove Manor, Braintree, MA died on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Formerly of Dorchester and Rockland, MA. She served on active duty as a U.S. Army Nurse and subsequently Head Nurse at Stone & Webster Corp., Boston.

She was predeceased by her parents Edward A. and Lillian K. Burke and siblings Edward A., Jr; Arthur E; William F; and sister, Dorothy M. Hamilton. She is survived by her devoted sister, Barbara A. Browne and brother-in-law, Gerald F. Browne. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

The family is especially grateful for the loving care of her Godson, Gerald P. Browne, R.N. and niece, Janet Hanssen and husband, Jim, for their years of kindness and devotion. The family wishes to thank Dr. Elizabeth Nowack and the staff of the Pace program for their compassionate care as well as the dedicated staff at the Grove Manor, Braintree, MA. Visiting hour on Wednesday, April 27th from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, followed by a Funeral Mass at the Holy Family Church, Union St., Rockland, At 11:00 AM.
