Mary K. (Campbell) Beary, 80 of Rockland died on October 4, 2011 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late William and Ann (Morrissey) Campbell and was raised and educated in Hyde Park. She has made her home in Rockland since 1965.

Mary retired in 1998 after serving as an administrative assistant at the Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth for 20 years she was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband John F. Beary and her children Faith T. Verrochio of Newtown, PA, John F. Beary of Kingston and Matthew S. Beary of Abington. She was the sister of Lorraine MacLeod of Avon, CT, Faith Heffernan of Rockland and the late Wilson Campbell and Rita McDonough. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Joseph Verochio, Tabitha Beary, Andrew Beary, Robert Beary, and Elizabeth Verrochio, her great grandchildren, Andrew and Audrey Beary as well as several nieces and nephews. The Beary family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. Rockland on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday October 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rockland
