Obituary For Martin Nolan

Martin J. Nolan Jr, 93 of Rockland died on February 18, 2015 at the South Shore Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Rockland. Martin was raised and educated in Boston, but had been a resident of Rockland since 1950.

Mr. Nolan was a proud veteran of our nations armed services, serving in the United States Navy during World War II. Martin was a member of both the Disabled American Veterans, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Martin is survived by his children, Martin J. Nolan III and his wife Kristin of East Bridgewater, Maryann Nolan Mowry of Bridgewater, Michael J. Nolan and his Wife Sandra of Halifax, and Mark J. Nolan and his Wife Donna of Rockland. Brother of the late Irene Keenan, and Florence Cullinan. Grandfather of, Rachel Mathews, Elisabeth Ferreira, Sara Presti, Brian Dwyer, Stacy Waitner, and John Nolan. Also survived by several Great Grandchildren.

The family welcomes friends and family to celebrate his life on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, from 4-7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday February 23, 2015 at 9 AM in Holy Family Church in Rockland. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland

    So very sorry for the sadness to your family..but he now knows the "Great Mystery" and I am sure he was greeted with open loving arms by our Savior and his loving wife..The angels rejoice as he holds her in his arms, as they start their new life together once more. May God bless you and your family with a peace that passes all understanding.
