We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother - Phan Thi Hon. She passed away peacefully at her home in Rockland, Massachusetts on April 23, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 10, 1934, in Bui Chu- Nam Dinh, Vietnam and was married to Lam Van Long for 62 years. Together, they have 12 children, 28 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. The Lam family immigrated to the US in 1980, living in Malden, Revere, Chelsea before settling in Rockland, MA, which they called home since 1984.Mom's proudest joy was her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and cared for every single one of them deeply. Mom’s second home was St. Ambrose church. She loved attending masses and was actively involved in several prayer groups including Legio Mariae, Divine Mercy, and Cursillo. She also enjoyed traveling the world to visit churches and holy monuments.
