Marguerite (Easton) Casey, of Norton, formerly of Rockland, December 10, 2006 Age 93. Widow of Edward Casey. Mother of Michael C. O'Connor of E. Bridgewater, M. Lucille Cullinan of Abington, Meredith L. Anctil of Taunton and Linda A. St. Pierre of Norton. Step-Mother of Robert J. Casey of Carver. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A Funeral Service was held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND on Wednesday, December 13th at 11:00 AM. Calling hours were on Tuesday, December 12th from 4-7 PM. Marguerite died at her home in Norton, surrounded and cared for by her family. She was born in Rockland daughter of the late Carroll A. and Louisa E. (Vining) Easton and was raised and educated there. She had been a lifelong resident of the town before moving to live with her daughter three years ago. A former employee in the garment industry, she worked as a stitcher at Andrea Manufacturing Co. and later at the Old New England Leather Co. She was a member of the Rockland Golden Agers and had been a member of the First Congregational Chuch of Rockland. Burial followed the services in Spring Lake Cemetery in Rockland.
