Obituary For Margaret W. Deacon

Margaret W. (Russell) Deacon, 95 of Rockland died on January 24, 2016 at the South Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockland. She was born in Conant, Ohio daughter of the late Harley and Pearl (Gaskill) Russell.

She was raised and educated in Ohio and has made Rockland her home for the past 5 years.

Wife of the late Richard E. Deacon she was the mother of Shirley Gaskill of Rockland, Barbara Barlage, Carl Stevens and Diane Marston of Ohio, Deborah Deacon if RI, Rick Deacon of Newton and the late Richard Deacon. Also surviving are her daughter in law Mae Deacon of Hanover, 22 grandchildren many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

The family invites relatives and friends to celebrate her life on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland from 5:00-7:00 PM. A Funeral Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM.
