Obituary For Margaret T. Anastasi

Margaret T. (Mills) Anastasi, 79 of Brockton, died on January 5, 2012 at the Good Samritan Hospital in Brockton. She was born in Brookline daughter of the late Lancilot and Margaret (Conley) Mills and was raised and educated in Roslindale. She has made her home in Brockton since 1971.

Margaret had formerly been employed at the E.T. Wright Shoe Co. in Rockland. She was a member of the Middleboro Elks Club and the Abington VFW Auxilliary.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Anastasi and her children Jean M. Bunting of Brockton, Judith A. Anastasi and her companion Arthur Sullivan of Brockton and Michael J. Anastasi and his wife Vivian of Rockland. She was the sister of William Mills of Hanover and John Mills of MS. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Joshua D. Silva, Ryan M. Bunting, Michael J. Anastasi and Christie M. Layton. She was also the grandmother of the late Lisa M. Bunting.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. Rockland on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM A Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Tuesday January 10, 2012 in Holy Family Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Abington. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
