I remember Aunt Peggy when we visited with Mom and Dad (William and Olive Webster), in the 1990s. Her parakeet always got loose and flew freely in the house until feeding time. She always had a religious fervor which helped influence my future religious studies. Aunt Peggy and her husband Uncle Wes were responsible for introducing and transporting Mom to Vermont to meet our future Dad. Aunt Peggy had such a sweet and kind voice when we visited her every year from 1990 to 1999 in the beautiful log cabin in the pine tree forest. I remember her showing us her garden and the beautiful pine forest behind their house where all us cousins played when we were kids. When I saw her last she was in the hospice hours before she went to heaven. She opened her eyes for a few brief seconds and squeezed my hand and I could tell she indicated her love. We will all miss her as she was an essential part of the extended Fowler families and we will reminisce with pictures of her and her family and feel the love she always exuded for everyone.

My fondest memories of Aunt Peggy were the times we would visit over the holidays and how she would make sure everyone was well fed and happy. She was a wonderful and warm human being and never said anything to ever hurt anyone. I also remember spending a weekend with her when I was young and we had a wonderful time baking things and talking as well as several trips outdoors into the woods on treks to see the beauty of nature. I also loved sitting on the swing and just read a book.

My fondest memories of Aunt Peggy are from those times we'd visit the log home for Holiday meals. Her pies were so scrumptious! She was quick to recognize my hungry eyes and always offered me a thick slice. She always greeted me with a big, happy smile and I always felt at home when we went to visit, even in her later years. I can still hear her hearty laugh and see her kind face. On one of our last visits a few years back she recalled an event when I was little that still tickled her when she thought of it. Although I still don't recall this, she remembered it like it was yesterday. She giggled as she described coming out into the living room with my back to her near the nut tray. When she saw that I had eaten nearly all of the peanuts she laughed so hard her stomach hurt, she recalled. While her story didn't trigger my memory of the event, it was heart-warming to see her enjoy this time I shared with her from my childhood. During our last visit with Aunt Peggy we sang hymns together, then prayed and hugged before I had to go. I love my Aunt Peggy and will miss her dearly! My prayers are with Skip, Carolyn, Judy and the rest of our family as we mourn her passing.

When I remember my childhood, Aunt Peggy is always in those memories. Cooking and entertaining, sharing our joys and sorrows through the years, always there with a smile and love for her family. Even in more recent years she was always more than willing and happy to share her time with us. When we left she would walk with us to the car, even when we asked her not to because we feared she might fall. She would not consider giving up this ritual though, a reflection on her loving and gracious personality. I will always think of her in her beautiful home in Holbrook, that also holds such wonderful memories for me. I will miss her very much but I am glad she is at peace. I love you Aunt Peggy. Gayle

Aunt Peggy and Uncle Wes included my mom and the two of us in their family. I remember all the outings and family gatherings that we attended with them and they made our childhood a much happier time for us. I will miss them.

Hi, I'm sorry for your loss of your mom. She is surely meeting your dad and others with our Lord. They were wonderful friends and dedicated to showing God's love to me and I am better because of them. May you continue to feel their love and care for you all. I wish you the very best! Bob Petitti

I'm cousin Richard Haugen who often visited Margaret and Wesley when I visited Boston from Blockhouse Nova Scotia. A few weeks ago I was in Hyannis and droped in to her South Street address and saw the renevasions being done. Neighbours said "The daughters moved Margaret to a assisted living home" I mentioned that I would be back in Cape Cod june 20 to July 1st and would try to find her. So sorry for your loss. I would love to stay in contact with you cousins. Love, Rick Haugen
