Louise Lewis, 84, of Rockland, MA died peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2025 leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Louise was born in Landaff, NH on January 14, 1941 to the late Elwin and Vaulene Boulet. She lived in Landaff until enlisting in the United States Army. She was stationed at Fort Dix in New Jersey where she met the love of her life, Bill. They married soon after and started their family together, having five beautiful children that they raised in Rockland. Louise could often be found working in her yard, taking daily walks to visit with the neighborhood dogs, or doing elaborate puzzles at her kitchen table. Louise was loved by so many and was always doling out one of her famous hugs to anyone she met. When she was done raising her children, Louise worked as a lunch lady for many years at Rockland High School where she continued to take care of all "her kids." She had many roles throughout her life but none that brought her more joy than being Mom and Grammie to so many. Family was everything to her and you would not find her with a bigger smile than when she was surrounded by the people she loved. She had an infectious laugh that she passed on to all of the women in her family. Though she will be sorely missed by everyone, we take comfort in knowing she is finally reunited with her husband who she has missed dearly.

Beloved wife of the late Bill Lewis. Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Boulet.

Loving mother of Sharon Joy and her husband David of Weymouth, Kathy Ward and her husband Jim of Carver, Eleanor Lewis and her partner Tom of Rockland, Kevin Lewis and his wife Christine of Rockland, and Doreen Chandler and her husband Chris of Rockland.

Grammie to Melissa Fuery, Christine Healy, Jason Ward, Kelly Lambe, Matthew Chandler, Lindsay Nigrelli, Sara Joy Flaherty, Samantha Chandler, Andrew Feeley, and Jack Lewis. Great Grammie to fifteen great-grandchildren. Sister to Allan Boulet and his wife Judith of Landaff, NH. Also loved by many nieces and nephews.

Louise's family invites everyone to celebrate her life at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 7th from 4-7. Funeral Services will be held at Holy Family Church in Rockland on Thursday May 8th at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland

The family would like to thank Wingate Residences and Cranberry Hospice for their care and comfort in her final months.
