They lived in Southie until 1963 when they moved to Scituate MA with the first four of their six children where they lived for 55 years before their recent move to Quincy.

Her most cherished title however was Nina to her nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She filled her retirement years by babysitting her grandchildren, making her famous English Muffin Bread and potato salad, taking road trips to Foxwoods, attending sporting events, dance recitals, birthday parties, and apple picking. She loved to spend as much time as possible with her great/grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Mass in St. Gregory's Church, 2223 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester on Thursday, May 29 at 10:30 a.m, followed by a burial in Blue Hill Cemetery and a celebration of life at Jake and Joe’s in Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jared Lewis Quirk Scholarship Fund, 21 Holbrook St., Rockland, MA 02370.
