Loretta (Hunt) O'Sullivan, 71 died at the South Shore Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born in Quincy, daughter of the late Clinton H. and Irene L. (Thiboutot) Hunt and was raised and educated in Braintree. She has made her home in Rockland since 2006. Mrs. O'Sullivan owned and operated her own day care facility in Braintree for 15 years before retiring due to illness in 2003. She was a member of the South Shore Day Care Providers Association. She is survived by her children, Cynthia A. Schlager of Rockland, Linda J. Muffeletto of CA, Steven J. Mahoney of NH and William S. Mahoney of Peabody, a brother Clinton H. Hunt of Rockland as well as 5 grandchildren. A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, December 15th at 2:00 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND.
