Obituary For Lois F. Graham

Lois F. (Bailey) Graham age 91, wife of the late Donald C. Graham who passed away in 1993 after 50 years of marriage. She was the daughter of the late Chester and Edith (Baker) Bailey of Brockton, MA. Born in Boston but was raised in Brockton. She graduated from Brockton High School in 1939 and served many years on the reunion committee.

She worked for the New England Telephone Co. both in Brockton and Braintree for 28 years retiring in 1983. She and her husband lived in Abington for 42 years before moving in 1990 to South Meadow Village in Carver. She was a member of the United Parish Church of Carver and a past member of the choir. Over the years she had been an active member of many clubs, such as the Red Hat Ladies, Telephone Pioneers, and Women's Christian Club. Lois enjoyed traveling, gardening, and her family. She leaves four children, Donald Graham of Hanover, Craig Graham of Whitman, Marcia Tucker of Hanover, and Linda Prada of Plymouth. Also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Lois' Family would like to thank the Newfield House in Plymouth for the exceptional, and loving care they provided for Mrs. Graham. The Graham family welcomes relatives, friends and loved ones to celebrate Lois' life at the United Parish Church of Carver, 115 Main St Carver MA, on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM. A private burial service will be held at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date. Donations may be made to the Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Circle Plymouth MA 02360.

    Linda, Josh and family, I am so sorry for your loss. She had a wondrful long life. Remember God takes a life and gives a life. The birth of her great grandchild will be the blessing you will all need to get though this loss.
