Obituary For Linda Marie O'Brien
Linda M. O'Brien of Rockland died suddenly on 1/13/2020. Daughter of the late Robert E. and Patricia A. (Fay) O'Brien, loving big sister to James O'Brien, Timothy O'Brien and the late Jaqueline of Abington, Lee (O'Brien) and Dana Murray, Lynn (O'Brien) and Paul (PJ) Lynch all of Rockland, Lisa (O'Brien) and the late Robert Stanton, Laura (O'Brien) and Joe Casna of Kingston, Thomas and Emilia O'Brien of Pepperell, Marc Vos and spouse Robert Desiderio of Boston and longtime companion of Barry Hogan of Brockton. Linda is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom she adored. Linda was a 1973 graduate of Rockland High School, attended University of Southern California, Northeastern University and had recently retired after 35 years as the Medical Administrator of the VA Hospital in Brockton, Mass. Linda enjoyed gardening, traveling, blues music and poetry. She enjoyed any family gatherings, especially when it included a good poker game . Auntie Linda made the BEST Christmas fudge that was absolutely the most anticipated gift of the season. We love you Big Sister, stay safe with Mom and Dad.
The O'Brien Family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home on Thursday, Janaury 16, 2020 from 4:00-7:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 9:00AM in Holy Family Church in Rockland. Burall will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery.
