Obituary For Linda M. Donnelly
Linda M. (Bauer) Donnelly, 65 of Rockland died on July 8, 2013 at the Life Care Center of the South Shore in Scituate. She was born in Brockton daughter of Charles Bauer and the late Mary (Stoddard) Bauer and was raised and educated in Rockland graduating from Rockland High School in 1966.
Linda was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on all of the local Boston Teams. Her greatest joy came from being a devoted mother and best friend to her four children. She was the definition of a proud grandmother as her grandchildren were her pride and joy. One of her delights was to watch her granddaughter dance and her grandson play sports. Rumor has it that she even spoiled them quite a bit.
A devoted employee, Linda served as the Office Manager at the Dove's Nest Day Care Center in Rockland for 26 years and had been working until the time of her death.
In addition to her dad who resides in Halifax, she is survived by her children, Hugh F. Donnelly and Kim M. Donnelly of Rockland and Karen M. Laugalis and Kelly E. Donnelly both of E. Bridgewater. She was the sister and best friend to Nancy J. Lemon of Bridgewater, who became her sisters caregiver, taking every step of the journey with her including acting as a chauffeur to her weekly treatments. Also surviving are her grandchildren Devin Donnelly and Emily Laugalis and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Charles M. Bauer.
The Donnelly family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Tuesday July 16, 2013 from 5-8 PM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. Rockland. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday July 17, 2013 at 11:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hanover Center Cemetery. Donations in her name may be made to the Rockland Youth Commission, 394 Union St. Rockland, MA 02370.

I have so many wonderful memories, too many to leave here. A couple that come to mind: when Your mom was babysitting Tim and he got into her make up and painted his face, all I remember is your moms laugh. She laughed so hard she couldn't get through a retelling of that story. She did that a lot! Also, I remember us jamming ourselves into that little blue car she had so she could drive us to skatepark. I love your mom so much. She was so funny, kind, loving, and did I say funny. I can not conjure up an image of her without hearing her laughing. Linda, you will be missed by countless people who have even more wonderful memories.

Aunt Linda created some great childhood memories. The thing I'll remember the most is she always had a smile on her face.
