Obituary For Liem Van Dieu

Liem Van Dieu, 89 of Rockland died at his home in Rockland on April 18, 2017 surrounded and cared for by his family. He was born in Vietnam son of Xai Van Dieu and Lieu Thi Nguyen and has lived in the United States for 25 years.

He had been employed at the Postal Service in his homeland as a supervisor for more than 40 years. He was very much a "People Person" that loved yard sales, Ocean State Job Lot and he was a handyman that could fix just about anything.

He is survived by his wife Nga Thi Nguyen and his children Thuy Dieu Nguyen and Truong Huu Dieu of Rockland. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held at Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street Rockland on Friday April 21, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Saturday April 22, 2017 from 9:00- 11:00 AM. A Graveside Service will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree at 11:30 AM

The family requests that no donations be made, instead please perform some random act of kindness.
