Obituary For Lena B Pennellatore

Lena B. (Venezia) Pennellatore Lena "Ma" "nana" passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, July 29th 2024. Lena was born in Boston on February 14th, 1939 to the late Domenico and Mary Venezia. Lena is survived by her daughters Debra Ardolino and husband Michael of Rockland, and Lena Brown of Pembroke. she is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Lena is predeceased by her late husband John Pennellatore Sr., her sisters Mildred Venezia, and Mary Finnell, Her daughter Maryann Willis, son John Pennellatore Jr., son in law James Brown, and her great grandson Zachery A. Looney.

Lena was a devoted mother and nana. She also enjoyed time with her friends and loved going to the Cathay in Weymouth to grab a drink with them. She enjoyed helping people, she even watched all the neighborhood kids and always had a house full. Her house was always open to anyone if they needed a place to stay or even just a nice warm meal you were always welcome at her house, No one left hungry! Lena enjoyed talking to everyone and anyone she was a very friendly person. She always had her phone by her side and she would spend all day and night calling and talking to everyone just to check in. Everyone knew Lena and Lena knew everyone. She made everyone feel welcome and never turned anyone away. She will be greatly missed and always remembered by many.

    I will forever miss my nana! She was the absolute best grandmother! Everyone that met her loved her! I wish there was a rewind button! I will miss her phone calls and just giving her a hug! I love you nana! Love Nicole ❤️
