Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Connors 9/18/1972 – 6/8/2026

Born in Weymouth, MA to Lawrence A Connors and Joanne M Robison, died peacefully surrounded by friends and family at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA. Larry was a kind, caring, artistic and daring young man who was a Metallica purist (first 4 albums only) and Ozzy connoisseur. In his younger years he could be found drawing, break dancing, skateboarding, playing football and basketball, and once was daring enough to take his 9 year old sister to her first Ozzyconcert. After a tragic accident in his teenage years he persevered through the trials and tribulations to become a Braintree High School graduate in 1994. He was an active member in his community for decades attending The Friendly Sons of St Patrick of New Bedford events, attending LifeStream day programs and attending church services at the Christian Fellowship Center. He was a proud member of the Raiders Black Hole, avid cribbage player, lover of horror movies, devourer of Dunkin’ Donut and proud uncle to Elias Lawrence Holmen.

Larry is survived by his father Lawrence A Connors of Plymouth, MA; sister Julianne M Holmen (Connors) and her husband Brodie M Holmen of Plymouth, MA; nephew Elias LHolmen of Plymouth, MA, several aunts, uncles and cousins; and the many caretakers and friends of CMHS Inc whom took care of him and loved him each day like their own. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne M Robison.

The Connors family wishes to invite friends and loved ones on Tuesday June 16, 2026 from 5pm-8pm at Magoun Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St Rockland MA, 02370. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 17,2026 at 9AM Holy Family Church, 403 Union St, Rockland MA 02370, followed by a burial at Holy Family Cemetery, 92 Centre Ave Rockland MA 02370
