Obituary For Laurie A. Moran

Laurie A. Moran (Sheehan), 48 of Rockland, died on Friday November 16, 2018 after fighting a battle with heart disease. She was born in Boston. Daughter of the late Robert D. Sheehan, and the late Maureen P Mathias. Laurie was raised and educated in Rockland graduating from Rockland High School in 1988. Laurie was a beautiful person with a tremendous sense of humor and a smile that would light up a room. She was the Facility Manager for the Weymouth-Braintree Elks and she also worked part-time at the Rockland Golf Course. She was a hard worker and took great pride in performing her job well. Laurie carried a busy schedule, and truly cherished her time with her family and friends. She lived a life of selflessness and brought joy to every life she touched.  Laurie leaves behind three beautiful children, Kyle "Bud", Jenna "Bean" and Rylee "Ry", and her loving Brother, Robert M. Sheehan and her two nieces Meghan "Megabucks" and Haley "Buggy" of Rouses Point, NY. She will be dearly missed by her entire family and a countless amount of friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Laurie's life on Tuesday November 20, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street Rockland, MA. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at 9:00 AM at Holly Family Church, 403 Union Street Rockland, MA.

    Kyle, Jenna and Rylee, We are so sorry about the loss of your mother. I wish we had the opportunity to know her. But, I feel like we do because of how wonderful she was to Nick. He adored her.
