Daughter of Robert A. Johnson of Fl. and Margot V. (Olson) Johnson of ME. Sister of Linda A. Marcoux of PA, Margot N. Johnson of Weymouth, Robert G. Johnson of CA, Kenneth A. Johnson of ME, James L. Johnson and Michael E. Johnson of Hanover, Peter A. Johnson of MO and Kris R. Johnson of FL. Grandmother of Cody L. Spurr and Michael M. Spurr, Jr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND is assisting the family with arrangements. Laurie died on Christmas Day at the Brigham and Women's Hospital after being stricken very suddenly. She was born in Quincy and was raised and educated in Hanover graduating from Hanover High School. She had been a trade show manger for the past ten years working with DMG World Media in Braintree and for the past year she has been with Resource Plus in Boston in the same capacity. She held her Real Estate Brokers License and had done some freelance real estate work. She also obtained her Captains license which enabled her to sail around the world on the boat of her dreams that her husband Glenn named "Lauralee." They moored the boat for many years at Huard's Cove in Hingham and most recently in Rockland, Maine. Mrs. Myette was an avid photographer, skier, hiker and gourmet cook. Rev. Donald Remick officiated at the services and after cremation, her family will scatter her remains both in the mountains and at sea.

Dear Glenn and all of the Johnson family, Your family has met with too much tragedy over the past few years. I am so sorry for Laurie's sudden passing. I only take comfort knowing she is with Julie in Heaven, and that she was able to spend the last years of her life here happy with Glenn sailing the world. We will mourn her sudden passing and remember what a wonderful person she was. She helped me buy my first car, and rented me her house when I needed help-she was loving, graceful and generous, and we were all lucky to have her in our lives. With deepest regrets, Julia Eldridge
