Obituary For Laura V. Fleming

Laura V. (Athridge) Fleming, 73, of Rockland died on December 7, 2007 after being stricken at her home. She was born in Boston daughter of the late Michael and Laura (Miller) Athridge and was raised and educated in Roxbury. A former Braintree resident, she has made her home in Rockland for the past 12 years. Laura was a Nursing Assistant for over 30 years at many South Shore nursing homes and was employed at Braintree Manor when she retired in 1994. Wife of the late John E. Fleming she is survived by her children Charles L. Fillis of Braintree, Laura V. Travaglione of Stoneham and Loretta Goudy of Rockland. She was the sister of Katherine DelCupolo of Canton, Charles Kenney of MS, Ann DesRoisers of NC and John Kenney of NV. She is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, December 12th at 11:30 AM in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St. ROCKLAND. Calling hours were held on Tuesday, December 11th from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial followed in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
