Obituary For Lana S. Brady

Lana S. Brady, Mother of Morgan Levangie of Hull. Sister of Marc K. Brady of ME, Lance K. Brady of LA, Kim L Levangie of Hull, and Sean Brady of Scituate. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service was held in the Hull Village Cemetery in Hull on Thursday at 12:45 PM. Calling hours were held in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union Street Rockland on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Lana died Saturday at the South Shore Hospital after a period of failing health. She was born in Fort Lee VA daughter of the late Woodrow and Janet Brady. Lana was raised and educated in Hull graduating from Hull High School in 1985. Ms. Brady was a veteran of the armed services serving in the United States Coast Guard. She spent time stationed mostly in Boston but also spent time stationed in California and Maine. After her time in the Coast Guard Lana attended Quincy College. Lana loved spending time with her family and friends and truly had a big heart. More than anything Lana loved to spend time with her daughter Morgan. She and Morgan used to enjoy trips to the playground, the beach, and the pool together.

Lana, the words are difficult to find. I just learned of your passing. I'm not even sure if it's appropriate to respond now. I remember the first day we met in Petaluma as if it were yesterday. You had an energy that just naturally drew people towards you. How you loved to sing and dance. Your smile and laughter could not be matched. I'm sorry I didn't stay in touch and missed out on all those years with you. I never had any real regrets until now. I'll always remember you. You'll always be in my heart. I will remember the fun times I shared with Lana. we would both be in the kitchen singing our heads off to Bob Segar and just being super goofy. Lana was someone you could let your hair down with. Lana was a classmate of mine. I had not seen her in at least 20 years. I was visiting my family in Hull & opened up the "Hull Times" newspaper & was saddened to see her obituary. My heart goes out to her family, especially her daughter. May she rest in peace.
