KF, Went down to Rockland this evening and took out Linda and the kids for a little din din. I know you know all this but it somehow makes me feel better to write it out. Linda and the kids were in really good spirits and they all look spectacular. The house was all decorated up for Christmas and looks better than ever. Kiley and Lauren are continuing to blossom and Kevin was really happy tonight given that Santa is just around the corner - we had a lot of laughs. The GMEN are rocking this year but I'm not saying anything about that since we know what happens when you say a thing or two about the thing. Linda is doing a Giants game on the 21st (Carolina) at the house and I and the boys will be there will bells on. Looking forward to seeing everyone else as well. I think about you a lot. In the theatre of my mind I hear you saying all the whacked crazy stuff you were famous for as well as un-whacked crazy stuff. I really feel your presence when I think of you which seems to make this whole thing easier for me in a strange kind of way. You gave me a lifetime of memories and the love of a true friend and for that I am grateful. When I join you there, although I'm not planning on it anytime soon, the first couple dozen are sooooo on me. Your other brother Strutt

linda, kevin, kileyy, and lolo, i love you all, and im very sorry about all of this; yu know im here for yu if yu need anything, ever. kevin was like another dad to me, its going to be weird without him around. i love him so much he always made everyone happy even if he was having the worst day ever. we always knew what to say, and when to say it, he would always get excited to go to the brocton fair every year, and i would always go with you guys,. he would always be upset after taking the family photo because he wante me to jump in., he told me i could be in itt this summer sense i didnt go to the fair with the family last summer., kevin was amazing, and the best softball coach ever. he always hadd a funny joke to go along with what we where doin, like if we were to run fast he would yell run skippa run., or sumthing like that. whenever i would sleep over the house he would bring candy home and we would all sit in the living room or play room and watch movies until our eyes were burning, we would all lay in a row on the ground in front of the television laying on pillows with the giants on the case., and little kevins conforter. kevin was the biggest giants fan ever. my family and theirs would always bet on who would win either the giants or patriots [we usually would :)] everyone says "atleast he got to see the giants cream us in the superbowl this year" kevin was always so happy and always had that grin on his face =). half the time he didnt have a shirt on, just because he knew he had great muscles! linda kiley kevvin and lauren[lolo] stay strong keep your heads up with a smile on always; yu know your father wouldnt want it any other way. you all are truely the strongest people i have ever met in my life., (thank god for the trash can in between our classes in kindergarden, hu kiley? where would we be today without them :] <3 ) i love you all so much stay storng no mattter what; im always here for you<3

Our thoughts and prayers to the Farrells. Going on about a week now since I heard the news I keep getting the images I remember Kevin from the best - in high school; spanish class, football, the boys locker room, Friday nights and then it fast forwards to when I saw him at Di Graz's party last fall with his son Kevin, a very proud Dad. I hope you can take solace in knowing (maybe not now) over time you can see there is a master plan for all of us. From my lips to your ears, god bless all of you. - Jim & Tracy Griffin

To my loving devoted handsome cousin Kevin Farrell you are one in a million! Our fifty years of growing up together I guess I'm living in denial. Life without you at our family events will have a new meaning, however every table we set and holidays to come you will be alongside us. Today at 5:02 am tears awoke me once again. As I attempt to type the tears have overcome me ~ when you lose someone so unexpectadly the pain succombs. Kevin our warmest memories remain forever in my heart a piece of me will be forever be lost. You fill my mind and heart ~ wish you were here with that contagious smile, confidence, strength, understanding , compassion, empathy, and sensitivity, that allowed you to achieve your goals. You always had the the right words to say to strangers, your kindness, your loyallty, your honesty, your values, your interegity, and relationships among your peers and friends alike. The accomplishments and challenges you conquered, your love of people was evident with the outpouring of 2,000+ who attended your services only a week ago today. Your 29 years of courage and level of pain since your auto accident and you were only 22 at the time most of us have never endoured. Kevin I still hear your voice and feel your warm loving arms around me saying "Hey Pammie Miss Fall River, you still got it baby!" I recall our childhood years reminicing from playing ball in the streets, pool parties, to cookouts. We would sing and dance as we watched my mother and your mother dance around the pool here at my home as we all followed behind them dancing and singing. As we wollowed watching your younger sister Kathy barking like a dog we all cried with laughter. I remember me walking you in a carriage strolling you along on our daily walks, to your marriage to Linda, the birth of your three beautiful children , egg and gunny sack races those old home movies will live on forever. Growing up visiting our Grandpa in Little Compton, RI with our 100 relat

I miss Kevin's big smile! I worked with Kevin at Ricky Smith's for a short time. We came from the city (roxbury) and we would joke around about coming from the city. Dear Farrell Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Kevin was so full of life; a good man with a great smile and a big heart for friends and family. We have many fond memories of our high school years together. Seeing the video clip took us down memory lane in our minds. He seems to have never lost that part of him that endeared him to others. He will be missed by so many. We pray God will comfort you in a way only He as a loving father can do. May His love and grace sustain you through such a difficult time. Kevin and I were tight in Jr. High & High School. At Holbrook High, I was the fullback - Kevin was the QB...we used to imitate the tag team wrestlers, Jimmy and Johnny Valiant, aka, Apple n' Sugar! I am so sad to hear about Kevin's passing. He was a very cool guy who always made me laugh! From the tribute, it's easy to tell that Kevin had a beautiful and loving family. I am proud to call Kevin my friend - take care, WT

Dear linda, brian and family, linda it has been so many years but i still remember the day you and kevin got married! he had his trademark big grin on all day long, he was so happy and proud. you probably dont remember me but i have known kevin and brian for so many years. i would see him over the years and all he would talk about was you and the girls with that big grin. and just like everyone else said no matter what kind of day you had if u ran into kevin he would give you that hug and just make u crack up! when i first met the "farrel brothers" they where like the the dynamic duo never one without the other. no matter where you go or what you do you will always be reminded of him because of how many people he befriended no matter who they were over the years! i too still thought of the word "cool" when i would see him after all these years. Rest in peace kevin.

Dear Linda, Kiley, Lauren and Kevin, You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Kevin was so great to us, always a smile followed by kind and encouraging words. You know how much we appreciated his words of encouragement for Brian! Quick story about Kevin and his kindness, a little over a year ago our daugther Kristina got a flat tire on Summer Street in Rockland and began to attempt to change the flat tire when Kevin drove by and came to her rescue! Kevin didn't know who she was but stopped and helped a 17 year old in need. Just one example of many I am sure that show how thoughtful Kevin was, our condolences to you all. Sincerely, Wally Byrne

I grew up with Kevin & the Farrell clan in Holbrook in the 60's & 70's. Soon everyone got married & moved out of town & lost touch through the years. I would bump into Kevin every so often in Rockland when I would visit my siter Karin (who also lived in Rockland)what can anyone say about Kevin but that he was the epitome of life & energy. Always a good time when Kevin was involved. And when Brian was around, the 2 of them watch out!!! Funny, funny, funny. You could always count on a great time with Kevin. Never a dull moment. The Farrells were a great part of my life growing up. Many fond, fun and crazy moments shared with the Farrells that I will never forget or would want to. Fit,Brian,Gerry & Kathy so sorry about Kevin; My love to Helen & John. My sister Karin and I have thought about all you guys over the years & talk about our great memories with not just Kevin but all of you. This is for Linda, Kevin, Kiley & Lauren, and it is also for Helen & John, Fit, Brian, Gerry, & Kathy....I just can't seem to grasp this yet. We've had a lot of years. I had just gotten to know Kevin again after many years when I moved around the corner from him. We renewed our friendship (although we saw each other sporadically) and I met you, Linda and your children. His Bubba (the beast) and my Bubba (the litte Chihuahua/Pomeranian) got along great.Kevin was always out in the yard with the kids with this great big smile on his face. (Except the day Bubba thought the neighbor's little girl was a plush toy.) He really enjoyed that special time with his kids. However, there is more to Kevin than just Kevin. Whenever my sister and I went out, we would always say, "Let's go up 'the Farrell's'". For it wasn't only one person we were going to see...we were going to see the "family". There are soooooo many special memories from each and every one of you. From teaching Kathy how to talk..well, maybe not ALL the right words, to doing the boys chores for some change and getting advice from John when looking for my first apartment. I was blessed with two whole family's. Linda, I thank God that He had blesed you by giving you Kevin. Again, he loved his family very much and it was evident on his face. And what is more, HE knew he was blessed. I love you all and will pray for your peace and comfort as you adjust to this unexpected loss. My heart hurts terribly right now, but someday I will be able to conjure up his face and smile and say as I use to.."It's Kevin Farrell." With much love, Kiki

Dear Linda, Kevin, Kylie, and Lauren, I am so sorry for your loss. I played softball with Lauren last year and probably this upcoming year. I remember Kevin used to ump our games. He alwways put a smile on my face and gave me great tips in life. I am so sorry again. Actually a kind of strange story but I was at the ceremony with my family and after my mom and I went to Holy Family Cemetery to go just see if we could find wher he was buried. As we drove around we spotted a memorial with flowers sticking up like he was just buried a few days ago. Two deer were eating the fresh flowers for Kevin. All my years of coming here have I ever seen such a thing. I think of it as some kind of sign for you guys. Again I am so sorry.... Love,Caitlin Barclay

I don't know what happen to my other entry, so I will say it again. Kevin made everyone special just by his greeting. Instead of just hello it would be your name bursting from his lips, a great big bear hug and then a "Hey, how are you?" and always with a huge smile plastered on his face. He would always be surprised when I showed up at AIC with a car load of people and being just as surprised the next week with the same or different people. (Fun times abounded.) I have learned something from Kevin (it really isn't THAT hard to believe)and that is this....I hope that I, in my passing, will have made such a great impact on the lives of others as Kevin did. His robustness for life could be felt in his presence each time I saw him and each person he knew was special for him. Geez, this is so hard. Ki again!

Dear Linda, Kiley, Kevin, and Lauren, Our deepest sympathy to all of you-we just got home from Florida and have been thinking and praying for you all since we heard. We wish we could have been with you during this difficult time but will see you soon. Maggie just loved Kevin- he was larger then life and had a way of making all the kids feel special. You could always tell how proud he was of his girls watching them play soccer and cheering them on and Kevin was his side-kick and you could just see the love he had for them all. Kevin will be sadly missed by all and his love for his family will always be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, Love Jerry, Paula, and Maggie Glynn(Family)

Ronnie & Tina Walker
Linda, From a mother to a mother, a wife to a wife, nothing can make me begin to understand what you are experiencing. Words of comfort are not comforting, words of help are not helpful at this time. Only time will help you through this, and when you feel the need to reach out to family and friends, from what I have read, you have a legion of family and friends that will be there for you. Nothing I can say at this time is going to make the pain any easier for you or your family. Please try to rest in the comfort that every one of us that knew Kevin, you and your children are praying for you. I know you are probably angry that you would rather have him here on Earth than up in Heaven, and I don't blame you. Prayers can't bring him back. I get angry at God sometimes for the decisions he makes, and this is one of them. I don't have an answer of why....I wish I did to ease your pain....some day the answer may appear, but in the interim, we are all here for you, whether in prayer, thought, running errands, finacially, etc. I won't even bother with the cliche to be strong for your children, because this a given with any mother. Please know, we will always be there for you whenever you need, forever and always. Tina Walker

The Doe Family
Dear Linda, Kiley, Kevin, and Lauren, Our hearts are deeply saddened by the loss of your wonderful dad and husband. Reading these entries is such a special tribute to a good man. It's so unfair that God would choose to take him away from you during the springtime of your lives. He has given so much of himself to his family and everyone he touched. You are all blessed. His kindness shined in everything he did. Barely knowing us, he offered to help my aging mother find a car in his spare time. He was an extremely special person, and his wonderful qualities will always be present in the family he left behind. Most of us can only hope and dream of having such devotion in our lives. Hold on to all he's given you and he will be with you always. With deepest sympathy to you all, Sandy, Marshall, and Alex Doe

To the Farrells, I will always remember Kevin as hysterically funny, passionate about life - especially his children, his wife, his friends, and of course his football Giants. He wore a never-ending smile and was quick with a bear hug and kiss whenever I saw him. We all have a bit of him that is now part of each of us, to take us forward and provide consolation. From my heart I send my condolences to you.

God, we are still in shock. It is still so hard to believe that someone with such vitality and energy can be gone, he seemed invinsible that's for sure. It was obvious that he enjoyed life and loved his role as dad more than anything. The last few times we saw him he could only talk about his kids and how much fun he was having coaching them and seeing them grow. Remember all those fun times and keep Kevin's smile and laughter in your hearts - it will help you through these days and we all know he will never be forgotten and he will live on in our hearts and our memories. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Kevin was a friend from first grade on. Even though our paths did not cross a lot in our adult years, when they did it was like no time had passed. A few years ago my wife was going through cancers treatments and it was a tough period for us. One day before visiting her at Brockton Hospital I looked up Kevin at his Abington Store. We had not seen each other in 15 years. I stepped out of my car and seen "Fluff" talking to a customer. He looked over, did a double take, yelled out my name and ran over to give me a bear hug. In an instance we right back in Mr Travis's sixth grade class playing floor hockey at recess. Kevin always made everyone around him feel special. That's rare, very rare. God Bless
