It was an honor and a privilege to care for Ken and to get to know his wonderful family. Ken was always so appreciative of everything anyone would do for him and was generous with his compliments. My all - time favorite compliment that he paid to me had nothing to do with my job, though. It was so sweet and so personal. He told me how he and his beloved departed wife Virginia would hug each other under the covers on chilly evenings to keep warm, and he spoke of their intense life - long love. Then he said to me, "That is what I wish for you someday." I was moved to tears. That is something I will never forget, as long as I live. Getting to know Ken and his family has enriched my life. He may be gone, but he will most certainly never be forgotten. God rest him.

I used to come over and visit his granddaughter colleen when she was staying there. I used to park at the top of the hill in front of their house all the time. When I would leave, I would apparently leave a wee bit of a skid mark on his lawn.. Over time I think he even put up a fence or bushes or something to make me stop driving on his lawn.. I was not the best driver, It was our little joke. I will miss you gramps. love Jen

I will always remember the look that would come into Virginia's eyes when Ken would drop into the office at Rockland Motors. She looked like a 16 year old girl seeing the love of her life for the first time. That look never died and neither did their love for each other. I am so sorry for the loss, but glad that they are together again.
