He enjoyed traveling, with special memories of spending time at his family’s retreat known as Little Gaffert in Maine. Ken has fond memories of growing up with his cousins Douglas, Michael, and Daniel. An ardent fan of Boston sports, particularly the Boston Bruins, Ken also loved NASCAR and music, passions he shared with his children. In his later years, he became deeply interested in his Lakota Sioux heritage, seeking to understand more about this aspect of his ancestry.

Ken was a true family man. Their home was a hub of activity, with family holiday gatherings, cookouts, and gardening. He and Arlene also enjoyed traveling and day trips to watch sunsets and spend time by the ocean. Ken was known for his kindness and gentle spirit, always the first to offer help. His profound love for his family and the many lives he touched will ensure he is deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
