Obituary For Kathyleen E. Walsh
Kathyleen E. “Kerry� (Walsh) Walsh 64, of Marshfield died on October 10, 2010 at her home. She was born in Hanover, daughter of the late John and Margaret Walsh and was raised and educated there. Kerry has made her home in Marshfield since 1973. She was active in the Disabled American Veteran’s Auxiliary at both Chapter 95 in Hyannis and Chapter 35 in Marshfield She was a past State commander of the organization. Mrs. Walsh was an active volunteer for the Marshfield Community Christmas for many years. Wife of the late John H. Walsh she is survived by her son Sean P. Walsh of Marshfield. She was the sister in law of Rachael and David Walsh of Hanson and Sam and Kathleen Foresta of Rockland. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Walsh family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Kerry’s life on Thursday, October 14, 2010 in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home 135 Union St. ROCKLAND from 5:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 9:00 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 11:30 AM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Marshfield Chapter DAV, P.O. Box 244 Brant Rock, MA 02020.

To Shawn: I'm so sorry for your loss. I just found out and I'm so sorry I'm not there for you. Please take my sincerest condolences and know that my heart goes out to you. Your Mother was always very nice to me when we growing up. And she always made me feel welcome in your home. She was a good person with a good soul. Again Shawn I'm so sorry for your loss. So very sorry to hear about Kerry's passing. Had not seen her in some time, but have great memories growing up on Crescent Street in Rockland and more after she moved to Hanover. Dances at Hanover High. I hold memories of her in my heart.

Sean so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. What a shock! Can't believe she is gone. We have been friends since grade school in Rockland. She was my maid of honor when I got married and godmother to my daugher. Please take comfort in the fact that she is now with your Dad in heaven.
