I had the privilege of getting to know Kathy when I first traveled to Honduras with her in 2008 with the Holy Family Mission Team. She was such a kind and humble person who always had a smile on her face. She was so brave throughout her illness, going on a cruise with a large group of us only two months ago and participating in everything despite how she was undoubtedly feeling. She will be missed so much, and I feel so blessed to have known Kathy for the time that I did. Much love and many prayers to her family, who she leaves heartbroken. There is no doubt that Kathy is home with the Lord now, watching over all of us.

She loved her family and always had great stories to tell about them. I will miss her terribly but feel fortunate to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

May you now rest in peace, my sister friend, and may God always watch over you.

KATHLEEN Kathy was and always will be a special part of all of us that is true you see, Always worried about everyone else except herself when she was here. The lord called her early and she wouldn’t want us to be, Heavy on our hearts she would not want that is for sure, for Kathy is up there looking down on all saying better not I am here. Loveable for everyone that is how she has been so true, Even for people she didn’t know much she helped them too. Everyone remember the fun and loveable times you had with Kathy you see for that is what she would want you doing? Not the fact that she is gone but the fact she will always be in your heart and mind no matter where you do or where you are going.
