Karen's slightly gruff personality was a cover for her heart of gold. She kept the office running smoothly and it was a pleasure to work with her.

To the Armstrong Family. Karen was a fantastic Person, I'm truly heartbroken over the loss of Karen. We had so many good times in the office. First as a student helping out in the office. Secondly as a co-worker and Friend helping her out in the office, whenever she needed it. From Ice Cream Sundaes in the summer at work. To helping Karen get the supply bid list, unboxed with Maryellen and having boxes all over the office. We had some great times. Karen cared about everyone she knew and she always talked about Rick, her kids and her Grandchildren. She was always done with Christmas shopping, Around the same time I was in October. She was the only one besides my mother who I let called me Christopher. Because as she said I have a grandson named Christopher. Karen Thank You for being a great person, Friend and Co-Worker. I will miss you so much. To the Armstrong Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I know it's easy to say : But thing of all the happy memories of Karen. As you know that is what she would want.
