Obituary For Judith Crowley

Judith “Judy” Ann Crowley, 69, was called home to God, peacefully on November 26, 2021.

Judith is survived by her husband of 46 years, Daniel R. Crowley of Rockland. Her three children, Daniel Crowley and his wife Erin of Rockland, Andrea Galvin of Rockland, and Shannon Decker and her husband Corey of Chelmsford. Born on September 20, 1952, in Boston, Ma. to the late Edward and Margaret Goss. Judith was one of six children including the late Edward Goss. She will be greatly missed by her 4 sisters, Carolyn Nichols of Raleigh, N.C, Lorraine LeClair of Dedham, Christine Roberts of Wellesley, and Mary Martin of Rockland. Judith’s pride and joy, her reason for living, were her 5 grandchildren. She was the “World’s Best Nana,” according to Olivia, James, Danny, Logan, and Drew. Judith was also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In 1988, Judy and her husband Daniel moved their family to Rockland. She immediately became part of the community. From volunteering at school events to making sure her children were all involved with town sports, she was a proud Bulldog Mom, turned Bulldog Nana. Judy also spent many years working in town at Station Liquors as a cashier where she made so many close friends in town. Judith had the unique ability to carry on a conversation even if she hadn’t seen you in years, and pick up right where you left off. If she wasn’t on the phone with one of her sisters, or having a “quick cup of tea,” you would find her out and about with one or all of her grandchildren. She would always tell you that, “My favorite people call me Nana.” Judy also lived for her yearly vacation to Florida with her entire, multigenerational family where so many memories will now be cherished forever.

A private celebration of life for her family will be held at a later date. Judy’s family would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at South Shore Hospital for providing the most comforting end of life care as she deserved.

Judy, I'm using a red candle for the Holidays....I thought you would like that🎄. I can't even believe I'm actually putting this down on paper. I have the biggest hole in my heart, just trying to imagine your not here anymore, and I just want to erase you off this site, as though I should be looking at someone else. I can only wonder what it will be like to have my next cup of tea with you. I will love and miss you until the day I die,💔💔💔💔
