Obituary For Judith A. McNulty

Judith A. (Robertson) Mcnulty, of Weymouth passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9th surrounded by her family at the age of 86.

Judy was raised in Boston, a graduate of Jamaica Plain High School. The daughter of the late Minnie Lawrence, of Boston and sister to the late Susan Lawrence, of Boston.

She raised her family in South Boston before moving to Weymouth in the early 80’s where she would spend the rest of her days.

She devoted her working life to a career with New England Telephone/Verizon, but her favorite job by far was being a mother.

She will forever be the cherished mother of Scott Zawadzki and his wife Debra of Virginia, Sean McNulty and his wife Denise of Weymouth, Heidi-Sue McNulty of Weymouth, the late David Arthur of Weymouth, and Karyn Celestino and her husband Peter of Rockland.

Adoring grandmother to Kyle, Ryan, Kathryn, Maribeth,Lyndsey, Kaitlyn, David, Benjamin,

Mia, & Pj. Along with two nieces, and 5 great grandchildren.

Judy was predeceased by her loving grandson Michael Johansen

Judy’s family extended well beyond her traditional family. She was a “Mother” to all who knew her. Everyone was welcome to a seat at her table. She was always ready with a warm cup and a listening ear. Her strength, spirit, kindness generosity & fierce love, knew no bounds.

She especially loved her dearest friend Gerrie, her Bingo family, her “girls” who took such good care of her, her pets, Chloe, Sookie, and Emilio, and any other person or being that needed love. She will be dearly missed by anyone who was lucky enough to know her.

Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please consider doing something nice for someone! A friend, a stranger, a random act of kindness in her memory. Judy would love that!

I met her a few years ago after the pass of her grandson. She was a kind, attentive, respectful, humble, and sincere woman with a huge amount of love to give. She and her family accepted me as part of their family, and I'll never forget that. I'm extremely grateful because my time with her was brief, but it's one I'll never forget. May she rest in peace. I love you Big Damma!
