Judith Ann (Leary) Cronin, 77 of Rockland, formerly of Abington died peacefully on August 4, 2022. Judy was born on March 4, 1945, to the late Robert and Eileen (O’Donell) Leary of South Boston. Judy was a graduate of Abington High School class of 1962. Judy was married to the love of her life and best friend David P. Cronin. They raised a family and lived happily together for 45 years until his death in 2018. Judy was the mother of DJ Cronin and his wife of 21 years Christy of Rockland, her daughter and best friend Dianna of Rockland, and Mark Cronin of Rockland.

Cherished grandmother of Justin, Jase and Liam. Judy was the loving sister of Rick Leary and his wife Laurie of Kingston. Brian Leary and his wife Claire of Rockland and predeceased brothers Kevin Leary and his wife Rosemary of Abington, baby Bob Leary and Michael Leary. She was the sister-in-law of Connie Danaitis and her late husband Michael of Abington, Joseph Cronin and his wife Kay of Rockland, Mary Ellen Chandler and her husband Neil of Abington, Sheila Ware of East Bridgewater and the late Kevin Cronin. Judy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Judy worked for many years in the medical records department at South Shore Medical Center. Judy made several dear friends during her time there. Irene, Mary, Gail, Diane and Patty. They enjoyed many laughs and outings together.

The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Holy Family Church at 9:00AM.
