I've been thinking a lot about back in the 7th grade when Josh, Canale, and I use to constantly get into trouble everyday in homeroom. And about how Josh, Paul, and I were together constantly that year. There are so many memories I don't even know where to begin. We hadn't spoken in a long time, but it still really breaks my heart to hear about this. My thoughts and prayers are with Josh's family and Paul in this difficult time.

  • 05/25/2021

I remember going on camping trips with josh and paul down at good old ellis haven. We had so much fun. And how we used to ride our bikes around town aimlessly just so we could be out doing something. We have so many memories from when we were younger and my deepest sympathy's go out to the lyons family at this difficult time. R.I.P josh

I remember Josh and I would watch Backdraft like 3 times in a row, then go play firefighter outside using his dads and uncles trucks as our fire trucks. He was such a great kid. This is just one of hundreds of thousands I have with him

I love you Josh, we will always be brothers, I never got to tell you how proud I was being your best friend, how proud I was that you always battled the odds and did it with class. Today is a day the world loses a great person, someone who made a difference in lives. I love you man and will carry on your memory throughout the rest of my life. I am missing you sooooo much.

Ray and Terri, I can't express how deeply sorry I am for your loss, for everyones loss. Your son was a great person, and as good a friend as I could ever ask for. I think back to all the memories I have with Josh, and there are so many, it becomes overwhelming. I keep thinking of how Josh would always offer his help in any way he could, to any one of his friends, as well as family. I hope you know your son meant a lot to everyone who knew him, and I know his memory will not be forgotten. Stay strong through these tough times, and know your son was a great man. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Fema, you were like my brother, and I love you man. We will meet up again later on and kick it like we used to. Gone, but never forgotten.

  • 05/25/2021

When I heard the news, I knew that Josh was someone familiar that I went to highschool with. I just could not put a face to his name because he is 4 years older than me. I finally found out that, yes, I do know exactly who he is. I am completely shocked and in disbelief about his passing. Although you all are going to hear it a million times especially over the next week, my family and I are so very sorry for the pain, disbelief and sadness that you are all going through. Although, I was never close to Josh considering our age differences, he has still been in my mind since I found out. I remember going to hockey games when he was playing. He was such a fabulous player. He was such a good kid. Please accept my DEEPEST condolences for EVERYTHING that you are all experiencing! <3

  • 05/25/2021

There are no words strong enough to express how much I loved Josh. We had a pretty ridiculous history, and throughout the years, we always managed to remain friends and support and love each other so much. He was deeper than most know and cared so deeply and was so devoted to his family, friends and Cassidy. I'm going to miss him everyday for the rest of my life. I know he's in a better place. My strongest condolences to teveryone family through these times.

Our deepest sympathies to Teri & Ray Lyons in the loss of their son. There are no words that can be expressed to comfort you during this very difficult time. Know that we are here for you whenever you need. To Josh: I'll always remember the long talks we had about sports, and our love for "gangster & mafia" movies, and wrestling. We had so much in common, even our addictions. It was great when you would come with me on my routes. You were such a great kid and I will always remember the time we spent together. You will be missed more than you will know. We know that your life wasn't always easy, but we also know that you are in a place where there is no more pain and suffering. We will see you again someday.

Josh, I've known you since you were a little guy going to Kinder Care with Paul and Nicci and David. You always were and still are considered part of the Ingeno family . The reality of your passing breaks my heart beyond verbal explanation. All of the people who love you lost a piece of their hearts that day. The angels are celebrating your arrival in Heaven! I know you knew Jesus and are at peace. For reasons not known you were taken from us but will some day greet us in Heaven. You are truly missed, Love Sheryl Ingeno

Ray and Terri, I was deviated to hear of Josh's passing. Over the last few years my thoughts have turned many times to "the family" that I left behind. Josh was a great kid and I am honored to have so many fond memory's of him. My deepest sympathy with you both now. The poem that follows is one that has helped me in times of loss in the past. Hoping now that the words might bring some comfort to you. Remember me when I am gone away, Gone far away into the silent land; When you can no more hold me by the hand, Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay. Remember me when no more day by day You tell me of our future that you plann'd: Only remember me; you understand It will be late to counsel then or pray. Yet if you should forget me for a while And afterwards remember, do not grieve: For if the darkness and corruption leave A vestige of the thoughts that once I had, Better by far you should forget and smile Than that you should remember and be sad. Christina Rossetti
