Obituary For Joseph P. Kosonen

Joseph P. Kosonen, 33 of Rockland died on July 15, 2017 while in Providence, Rhode Island. He was born in Brockton, son of Deborah M. (Haywood) Kosonen and the late Steven M. "Benny" Kosonen.

Joe was raised and educated in Rockland and attended Rockland High School. He had been employed in the construction industry. Joe loved fishing, music, four wheeling and he was an avid fan of all of the Boston sports teams.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his son Christopher J. Kosonen, his girlfriend Denise M. Kitchens and her daughter Sadie M. Kitchens all of Whitman. He was the brother of Steven M. Kosonen, Jr. of Rockland and Thomas J. Kosonen of Pembroke. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
