July 10, 1944 to October 3, 2025

Joseph A. Muscato, 81 (Muscie to friends and family) of Rockland Massachusetts passed away on October 3, 2025, surrounded by loving family.

Joe was born in Boston, Massachusetts but the family moved to Rockland when he was young. He is pre-deceased by his parents Anthony and Sarah Muscato (Hairston), and his brother Anthony F. Jr. He is survived by his brother James and his wife Lisa, His brother Tony’s wife Kathy and his sister Catherine and her partner. He was a loving father to Alicia Clifford and her husband Garrett and Joseph Muscato and his wife Sue. He was grandfather to Joseph III, Dillon, Jillian, Jenna, Jack and Lily and a great grandfather to Delilah, Jacob and Rosalie. He had a special place in his heart for Michel, Nicole and Caprice.

Joe graduated from Rockland High School. He spent his entire career working for Ford Motor as parts manager – first here in Massachusetts and later moving to Florida and continuing his career there.

Joe loved Fishing and being on the water when he wasn’t working. He was a member of the Sons of Italy in Rockland for most of his life. The Muscato family was proud of their Italian heritage and were very involved in the Sons of Italy. He finally made it to Italy with his longtime friend Carol after he retired. She had done all the research on the Muscato family history in Italy, and they had the trip of a lifetime. The family would like to thank Carol for her kindness to their dad after he fell ill.

The Muscato family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Joe's life in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 4:00-6:00 PM.

Did you ever know you were my Hero, the wind beneath my wings. I didn't get the chance to talk to you and get that one last hug and say goodbye. Go fishing with Dad and Tony and plenty of scratch tickets. My Heart is broken, but full of Love and memories with you. Love Sista
